HERO – Behaviour Reports

Minor behaviour reports will be communicated directly to parents and caregivers through HERO.

If your child is involved in a minor behaviour incident, a report will be shared with you through the HERO platform. We have chosen this approach to ensure caregivers are kept informed and can work alongside the school to address any behaviour concerns before they escalate. If you receive a behaviour report, you will have the opportunity to comment and communicate directly with the teachers involved.

If your child receives 10 incident reports, we will require an in-person hui with whānau. This hui will focus on identifying additional support strategies and developing a behaviour plan or contract to help your child succeed.

Major behaviour incidents will continue to be managed in accordance with our existing school behaviour processes and procedures.
