As we approach the end of another busy term, we would like to take a moment to reflect on our achievements and acknowledge the wonderful contributions of our school community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our regional Kapa Roopū and Āhurei Roopū for their incredible performances and dedication to preserving and sharing our cultural heritage. Your commitment to excellence and passion for the arts enriches our school community, and we are grateful for the joy you bring through your talents.

Farewell to Whaea Leandi and Whaea Evelyn

This term, we bid a fond farewell to two beloved members of our school community, Whaea Leandi and Whaea Evelyn. Your contributions to our students and the positive impact you have made will be deeply missed. We wish you both all the best in your future endeavors and know that you will always have a place in our hearts.

Mrs Jones’ Refreshment Leave

We would also like to inform the community that Mrs Jones will be taking a year’s refreshment leave. We appreciate her hard work and dedication over the years and wish her a rejuvenating break. We look forward to welcoming her back refreshed and ready to inspire our students once again!

Upcoming Events

We have some exciting events on the horizon:

Te Hiwi o Toroa Event: On Monday, we will be hosting the Te Hiwi o Toroa event. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to engage with our cultural practices and celebrate our heritage. We encourage all families to join us in this special occasion.

Alternative Programme & Battle of the Houses: Next week, we will also be running an alternative programme and the much-anticipated ‘Battle of the Houses’! This friendly competition is a great way to foster teamwork and school spirit among our students.

Prom and End of Term Prizegiving: As we approach the end of the term, we are excited to announce our upcoming prom and end-of-term prizegiving ceremony. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our students and recognize their hard work throughout the year.

A Big Thank You

As we wrap up this term, we want to express our sincere gratitude to all staff for their hard work and commitment to our students’ success. Your dedication does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated by the entire school community.
