Kia Ora Parents, Caregivers, and Whānau,
This week has been an incredible showcase of the talent, creativity, and community spirit that makes our school so special. On Monday evening, we held our Family Food and Fun Fair, and what a night it was! After the difficult decision to postpone on Friday, we were rewarded with beautiful weather and an unforgettable event.
This celebration marked the culmination of our students’ 10-week inquiry into trade. It was amazing to see their hard work come to life through the unique products they created, engaging games they designed, and fun activities they planned. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support us – it was heartwarming to see our whānau and community rallying around our tamariki.
I also want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the companies and individuals who generously donated goods or services to support the event. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated and play a vital role in the success of these occasions. Please take a moment to check out our thank-you page acknowledging everyone who helped make the night possible.
To our incredible staff and students – thank you for your hard work, dedication, and passion. The success of this event is a testament to your efforts, and I couldn’t be prouder of what you achieved.
Finally, I’d like to wish our Kapa Haka group the very best for their competition tomorrow. Their commitment, discipline, and enthusiasm have been inspiring , and this event is their chance to shine. We know they’ll perform with heart, and we’re already so proud of them.
Ngā mihi nui
