Kia Ora Parents, Caregivers, and Whānau,
The decision to postpone our Family, Food, and Fun Fair until this coming Monday the 18th was not made lightly, but the weather has certainly shown us we made the right call! With Monday’s forecast set for sunshine, we can look forward to an evening filled with delicious food, incredible student-made creations, and the thrill of quick-fire raffles. The tempting aromas and warm smiles will welcome you all – we can’t wait to see you there with your whānau!
This week, it has been wonderful to hear and watch our Kapa Haka and Ahurei groups practicing in the hall. The talent on display and the dedication of their kaiako are truly inspiring. They have a big two weeks ahead, and we wish them all the very best in their upcoming performances.
Students and teachers alike are excited for the upcoming alternative education days. The range of activities and learning experiences planned promises to be truly enriching for everyone involved. Please check you have received all the information from the teacher involved, including costs If you haven’t yet, you may wish to contact them via the office.
Lastly, as we wrap up the final few Tarawera Trail days, it’s been heartwarming to hear stories of ūpoko pakaru, teamwork, and laughter from each of the classes. It’s fantastic to see our students embracing these challenges and supporting one another every step of the way.
